BookedIRL helps people discover service providers, request bookings, and message after a booking is accepted. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. BookedIRL is intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old.

We collect account information such as your name, email address, authentication provider, and profile details. We may collect profile content you provide, including photos, bio, service listings, social links, booking requests, messages, and support communications.

We may collect approximate location or location-related preferences when you use discovery features. The app may request your device location and save coordinates to help show nearby profiles. We also collect technical information such as device, app, log, and notification-token data needed to operate authentication, security, push notifications, and app reliability.

We use information to create and secure accounts, show profiles and services, power discovery, process booking requests, create chats after accepted bookings, send notifications, provide support, improve reliability, and protect BookedIRL and its users from misuse.

We share information with other users when it is part of the product experience, such as public profile details, service information, booking context, and messages between participants. We may also share information with service providers that help us operate BookedIRL, including Firebase for authentication and notifications, Supabase for database and photo storage, Render for backend hosting, Resend and Cloudflare Email Routing for email, and Apple or Google when you use their sign-in or platform services. These providers are expected to protect user data consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide BookedIRL, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security. You may request account or data deletion by contacting us.

You can update profile information in the app where supported. You can manage device permissions such as notifications and location in your device settings. You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your information.

BookedIRL is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe someone under 18 has provided personal information to BookedIRL, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy as BookedIRL changes. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and take additional steps where required by law.
